Wagamama - mama yo!

Nam told us the other day that this new place in Subiaco is having a free meal thing as its grand opening marketing ploy. I didn't think too much of it then Friday my sis says let's go try.. I thought yeah why not, I haven't really hung out with my sister for awhile.

So she booked and we went on Sat night. It was POSH!!!!! Very nicely decorated, feels like I'm in Sydney or Melbourne! I feel like going to Sydney or Melbourne for the pubs because from the pictures Evan has showed me, look so classy!! =) Apparently the place started in London and then it went to the Eastern states in Oz land with great success (Alex has been when he was in Sydney!).

So I had a fried noodle thing while Judy had ramen. Unfortunately, the ramen isn't up to scratch to the authentic Japanese ramen.. We have been craving for ramen for ages because there isn't any here. Last time I had ramen was in Taiwan and I still salivate whenever I think of it. I also had Asahi from the tap.. it was ok lah =)
It was so funny when the dishes came because we like ooh-ing and ahh-ing because we know they're not cheap (entree at least 9.50 for lik 9 pieces of fried chicken). And it was especially funny when Judy's ramen came... different to the handbook so we took a picture of it with the book =P

It was a nice experience.. when it was for free!! We also tried Wagamama's fruit juice.. I had the celery mint and lime.. Quite nice!! And guess what the $$ was when the 'fake' bill came.. 70 buckaroos!! Woah!!

I was taking photos with my phone and a couple of mother & daughter was 'smiling' at me because I was taking all these photos like an excited tourist.. oh well! =P What is important is that I managed to capture the moments that I can reminisce later on =)

Ok, back to essay writing.. Not long to go! Woo hoo!!
