The long awaited Saturday came. I had my group meeting in the morning, then in the afternoon did some work (and napped hehe) then Alex came over about 4.30pm. I got ready, then we drove to his house for him to get ready and off we went to Red Herrings!
It was quite nice! Luckily we had the entertainment card because it's a place that we'll never be able to afford without discounts haha As you can see from the photos, it was quite yummy. We had crayfish and seafood platter. We also had sashimi for entree. The restaurant was like Japanese and Western cuisine fusion. Quite interesting. They also had teppanyaki bar! But I don't think it was meant for customers, yoou can just sit there and eat, unfortunately no entertainment!
After dinner we went to Freo's hot spot and walked around. Metros was packed! The line was like.. never ending. And they implemented this awesome technology where the machine remembers your fingerprint so next time you can just bee-lilne through!! How awesome??
After the walk around, we had Rock Ice Cream.. triple choc with fruit tingles.. a bit too much fruit tingles as we were having a hard time finishing them. But it wasn't a bad combination =) Then we played Jurassic Park shooting game at Timezone. Gawrsh, how long ago was the last time I actually PAID to play video games haha But it was all good fun. We wanted to play Raiden but it was a bit expensive and I had it on my laptop anyway.. so we played that for half an hour or so when we got home =P It was soo funny & entertaining to play Raiden II with Alex.. Felt like we were little kiddies again!
Oh, whilst we were walking, saw this sign and Alex was rather 'fascinated' and asked me to take a photo =P
Exams coming up in a week exactly and I haven't progressed much with readings. I'm taking this whole week off so hopefully I'll pull through *fingers crossed* I can't wait for afterwards!!! Have made good friends through this program, it's good because we're all of similar ages =) We are planning to go out and relax after this trimester is over, to celebrate our survival (hopefully haha) of the 1st trimester.. and of course, barrack each other on for the many more to come.... *sniffles*
