One Year Already!?

Had a great long weekend. Didn't do much of uni work though (crammed it in on Monday night)... Fri night, went to Dharma class (my first one for the year!!) and it was at a Buddhism History display in Northbridge.

That was nice, very interesting. Then afterwards we went to Hsiao Wen's art expo in Leederville. It was a joint event with several arists and it was jam-packed with art - quite mind-boggling. Too much to take in!!

Saturday, went bike riding with Alex around the river from Mt Pleasant to Manning. It was awesome. We went UNDER Henry Bridge and along side Freeway. We went up the cross-bridge and took some nice photos. Alex took some artistic shots of the crossway (above) and underneath the canning bridge.

Then we went to eat Nepalese food. Quite yummy. And whilst waiting for food.. I posed for a shot... The spoon didn't stick on my nose though :/

After dinner, went to Yen's house warming. She's got a NICE house!! 70's feel.. I wouldn't mind living there! Had to go home early though coz next day, had bushwalking!!!! Went with Sonya & Sean to Lesmurdie. They had a book on bushwalking and they've been going every weekend!! So fit!! After bush walking, we dropped by a rose farm. Took some snaps but didn't turn out as well so I'm not going to bother putting it up here.

Was feeling kind stress for the past few days, but the feeling settled and I feel like I'm in control again. *phew* Got class tonight *yawn* Hope I won't fall asleep again. This is the only class that I fall asleep in!!! Managerial Finance... that says heaps doesn't it?

Work has been hectic!! All preparing for our major release in August. Let's hope this release brings success otherwise... no pay rise =( And boss went away yesterday so you would think things have quitened down a bit.. totally the opposite. Got more things to do for the senior management.. gawrsh. Somethings that's not part of my current job description, I end up doing anyway. It's weird, almost like doing my current role + my previous role. I guess it's good because being acknowledged and providing value to the company. But hmm.. it all comes down to the dosh doesn't it?!!?

OHHHH almost forgot.. got an exciting news on the weekend about high school friend's wedding. They finally got to set a date!!! In January! I better start to slim down so I can fit in the dress because I'm going to be the bridesmaid! Oooo! My first time ever!!! And according to the Canton wedding tradition, I have to think of obstacles for the groom when he picks up my friend for the ceremony. But what? I need some advice!!

Ok, enough.. back to work! 1.5 hours left until home time.. then uni *sob*
