Anyway.. first thing first..
I'M FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Exams finished.. and I'll be free for 2 weeks =) I was planning to take a make-up exam for Stats so that I don't have to do the unit.. but after careful consideration and speaking to other students who's taken the test, they say do the unit. So I think I'll do that with the capstone unit.. need something relatively simple to go with that unit!
Sooo... last weekend, was Es & Nam's engagement party come birthday for Es.
Getting married next year.. woo hoo!! Can't wait =)
Then winter sleep out on the Sat just passed.. gawd, it was freezing. So farnie to see Nam and the boys setting up the shelter. Masking tape is his answer for everything.. As you can see from the result of the shelter.. ehehhe
it was amazing that it held up!! I said, we should've filmed the whole process (3 hours) and post to National Geographic's "Amazing Mega Structures" haha
It rained!!!!!!! Totally poured down... so there were leakages.. on the side but luckily that was before we settled down to sleep. And we were very very fortunate that it didn't rain for the rest of the night *phew* I'm so glad that Han Chuan and Gary came!!!!! They've joining us every year.. so sweet of them =)
Here are some more photos from the night.. and of course, more on my photo blog
Winers.. =P
Lainy and your poses.. tsk tsk
Aww.. don't they look so innocent and sweet!??!
We also had a candle light offering... it was good to sit down and take some time to reflect what is the whole point of fundraising for the homeless. Andddd learnt something that I never knew.. The Big Issue that we see people selling around town.. that was for an initiative to help the homeless people!!! Woah, never knew that.. I better buy some next time I'm in town (hmn.. which is quite
rare!!)
We also told ghost stories.... soooo scary. Andrea and Ee Juen has all the ghost stories! And they were all real!! Well... coincidence or what not but it was still scary!! Then we started talking about all the ghost movies... the best ones we thought were Shutter (from Thailand) and The Eye (from HK). Mikewoahski lent me The Eye vcd.. but I left it there gathering dust for months because I never had the guts to watch it!! Don't think I will ever haha.. too scary..
So that was the exciting weekend.. I didn't do ANYTHING for the rest of the time. Oh.. I finished watching this Taiwan teenie bobbie soapie.. "It Started With a Kiss". Music in there is totally awesome. Loved it... And Taiwan soapie has definitely improved.. I didn't cringe as much =P Now.. downloading some more =P
Ok.. better get back to work.. eek eek
