Sat... was a busy day.
Love 'n Care group from the temple decided to hold a charity dinner. It was a wedding renewal for old couples. They have a wedding renewal ceremony at the temple in the afternoon, then at night they have dinner. It was all very well done.. There was even a 3-tiered wedding cake!!! Aunt Grace put a lot of effort into it.
9am, went to Perth Town hall to set up for the dinner. There were HEAPS of balloons.
12pm, finished and went to lunch with family. Then we ended up shopping in Garbo =P
3.45pm, rushed home from Garbo. Took a power nap until 4.15pm. Showered and got ready by 4.45pm. I must say, was very proud of meself!
5.15pm, volunteers all at the town hall.
6pm, people started to pour in. And so did the kids (yes I was assigned to the "child care centre"). But it didn't turn out bad. Vero was REALLY good with the kids. And they were soooo cute!! Short little thangs!!! The older kids... hmn!!! It was a bit hard to keep them entertained but eventually they started entertaining themselves and I just joined in on the fun haha
At the beginning, they introduced all the couples who renewed their vows and they walked into the venue, holding hands. That was such a touching moment for me. I got teary eyed!! And almost cried.. but I managed to hold it in =P There were 3 couples, married for more than 50 years. My gawd. That's a grand effort, especially in this day and age where it's so easy to just call it quits.

Our great MCs and Carl... he dyed his hair AND eyebrows. Couldn't recognise him ahahha. Es... you did great!!!

The whole thing finished about 11.30pm... and we cleaned up pretty fast. Everyone moved swiftly haha I guess we all wanted to go home ASAP. Gav was still wide awake though! Wanting to go out for hot drink, but everyone couldn't move an inch anymore.. so we all went home. But all felt.. satisfied.
Back to work. And uni work. At least I'm not feeling sleepy ahha

Even thought it's work but still there are so much fun in there working together with friends.
