Gam Ba De Oppa!

Well last night was the anticipated awards night. It was SOOOOO much like a ball!!!! Except people were in busness attire haha It was at Burswood grand ball room and they had live music, fashion parade and of course, the awards presentation.
The fashion parade was awesome. DesignEdge or something, apparently it's non-for-profit and has a shop in Belmont Forum. I haven't been there for awhile so a bit out of touch. But guess who we saw, Esther's sister-in-law!! She was helping out with the dress fittings etc coz she manages the shop! The collection was nice, some unique and some seen-before. Oppa and I spotted a few that we thought would be nice haha

We had plenty to drink and not enough to eat.. and darn, it was mostly non-vegetarian! So while oppa and his family scoffed down.. I just sat there.. Drooling and kept my attention to the "exciting" speeches.. Boo Hoo.. See what I have to endure? Although it's only canapes, it still.. looked so delicious

As the winners were announced, could feel Oppa feeling nervous. I was feeling a little bit too and I think the champagne and red wine got me a bit shakey. So I was taking pictures right, then my elbow knocked over glass of water (thank goodness it was water) and it went all over Oppa =( SOOOOOOO embarassed.. and it was RIGHT before the announcement of Young Entrepreneur of the Year.. so he wasn't happy!! Luckily he was wearing black so not as obvious =P So when they started talking about the award that Oppa was a finalist for, both Chun and I got up and hurried to the front. He took pics while I filmed. But the award went to someone else.. But hey, it was well deserved. He modifies motorbikes for disabled people (either hereditary or from accidents) who loves to ride motorcycles but can't for obvious reasons.
I took a picture not long after the announcement. Could still feel a bit of sadness from him.. and a bit annoyance towards me coz of the water spill ahha oops!!!!!

But good on you Oppa for being a finalist!! And I'm sure you'll bag them next year =)A shot with the finalist certificate.Since it was held on a school night (hehe) so the award thing didn't go on for too long. Thank goodness!! So Oppa and I spent time in the Burswood main foyer, just chatting and drawing dream houses. It was so goooood to see Oppa again, after him being away for about 3 weeks. He's flying off again on Thurs to QLD but he'll be back for good for awhile.. =* But glad to know that he missed me too ehhehehe ^_^

Anyway, yesterday was Halloween (Ooh and happy birthday Charles!!) BUT no kids came to our door!!!! Daddy was a bit disappointed coz he had all the lollies ready!!! I wonder why. We used to get a few kids but I guess they've all grown up now?! *scratches head*

Hope you're feeling better Lainy. I know what it's like to be sore and pukey. Had that last year.. poor Oppa had to clean up my mess =P But luckily I could still move to help so he didn't have endure TOO much ahha *huggles*

*yawn* So sleepy.. coffee ain't helping =(

Coz last night didn't do any work, I have to make up for it in the next few days. Have 6 things due in 3 weeks time and I haven't touched any!! ARghhh!!!!!! Suffer suffer... =(
