We stayed in Armorica. A nice little home away from home in the middle of forest... sooo nice and calming. Air was fresh and cool, the hosts were gracious and spoke with French accent (hehehe) and the best breakfast ever!!!! We were so lucky to have found this place... as you can see from the pics below, it was worth the moolah spent. Everything were very new because they just started 2 years ago... everything from bedsheets to decorations on the wall were all very carefully planned and placed. It was obvious that they spent a long time in setting up the place. It was a bit weird that the guest wing was sooo close to the main house. So when we came home after dinner, we were like tip toeing haha This is definitely not a place for rowdy teenagers or hens night! haha Definitely for couples who are seeking a quiet and romantic getaway. It was really great in the hills because we could see stars... and milky way!! In the city, we could see stars too but man, definitely a lot more when in the hills and no street lights at all!

Dinner @ Loosebox was quite good. We were totally stuffed. There were 5 courses and each one were so tiny we didn't think it was going to be too bad, boy were we wrong!! Totally stuffed.. I couldn't sleep!!!! The food was definitely top class and so was the service. I ordered this fig pudding for dessert and it had cute meringue doves on it.. hehe here's my cheesy grin. I also ordered snails (aka escargot).. that was great! I haven't had them since...... high school French class!!!

We also had a nice time going around Mundaring... Visiting the Sun market... so nice. Country music playing and everybody kept on saying hi to us because they probably thought we were tourists! We also did some sight seeing at Lake Leschenaultia. The weather wasn't too crush hot so we were a bit rugged up... took a walk HALF of the lake. I couldn't do the full circle coz it was too breezey. But it certainly had beautiful view!
It was such a nice getaway. Even though it was only 1 night away, definitely felt like we had a few weeks break overseas!! The most memorable Mother's Day ever!!! =) It was about time we spoilt our mummy huh!!!
