Happy Wedding!

Welllll... yesterday was amazing. Weather was beautiful. Perfect day for a wedding, and that's what Oppa & I did!!! Haha let me re-phrase that... we attended, we didn't get married haha

It was a class mate's wedding.. someone whom I met last year in 3rd tri for marketing. He was in my group and we kept in touch afterwards. He became like a dai lou for me.. listening to my troubles (well, g-chat and msn haha) and consoling me. Of course vice versa. It's wonderful how we knew each other for such a short time but we could click on that level so quickly. Just feel very comfortable to discuss my concerns. Of course I have Oppa to hear me out a lot of the times, but sometimes it's just interesting to get another party's perspective since Oppa's mind would've been corrupted by me by now haha =P

When I heard he got engaged earlier this year.. I was very excited for him. It was also very cool to "read" about his planning etc. I have been looking forward to this wedding for a long time!!

They had it in a nice & cozy church near Christchurch boy school. The groom looked handsome and bride just beautiful!! When we were waiting inside the church, I flicked through the ceremony procedure and thought to myself "oh sh*t" another long one! haha But it went by SOOO fast!! Couldn't believe it!!! It was such a lovely ceremony... so simple and to the point. hehe Of course I had to take a few snaps. We also got souvenirs after the ceremony (is that what you call them??)
Oppa and I walked around the Christchurch boy school and then drove to the foreshore for some relaxation time.. So nooiiice. Great houses and great view! Kind of a goal-setting visualisation kinda thingo for us. Look at this.. wouldn't it be great to see this everyday??
We went home after the ceremony and did some work back at my folks' place. Quite productive. About 7ish, we made our way to Burswood convention complex function room... Nice and cozy environment. He had like 300 people!!
They had live singers (husband & wife team) and they were really fun and entertaining! The newly weds had a dance but only went on for like 2 seconds and then the rest of us joined in. Oppa & I ventured our way onto the dance floor and just moved our feet side to side haha Not very good! There was a point when it was "faster" dance and we were everywhere. After every wedding, we always say that we want to take up dancing classes because that's what we both enjoy to do.. but we never get off our butts to make it happen!!! But still thank you Oppa for dancing with me when you've sprained your ankle!!! =P

The setting was quite simple.. with a smelly bag.. it's nice smelling! hehe
Going to this wedding, made me realised again how small Perth is. We actually knew quite a few people at that wedding!!! Another MBA friend went as well so that was cool... Oppa's uni friends went too! haha 6 degrees of separation theory at work!! Oppa & I were on the way out of the ballroom when we heard "Snowball". I thought.. EH!? who the??!! I haven't heard that nickname since.... uni!!! haha

Turned around and it was this familiar looking guy. He was half-pissed but he still could put his sentences together. I can't believe he still remembers me! haha He's friends with another close friend during my uni days.. but I've lost contact with that friend now. This guy hung around with us every now and then. So amazing (how many times have I used this word in this entry?!) hehehe It was good to see him.

What would the day be like without a photo of me & Oppa? =) A bugger though coz we didn't take a photo at night at the reception =(
Today.. was harbour town day. Went with family and boy, forgotten how much fun harbour town is!!! haha I think I'm addicted again! It was meant to be a shopping trip for J-san because of her upcoming birthday... (yes, present time! =P) But mum ended up buying me 2 pairs of shoes and 2 tops =P Oops! haha

Ok.. back to doing my readings... This week we're doing a case study on Walt Disney!! Totally awesome!!!! My dream job... is to work at Disney... whatever job it is! =P J-san said I could be one of the ducks from Ducktale.. grrr
