Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Oi!!!

Did everyone enjoy their Aussie Day celebration!?! I still can't believe another year has gone already. I stumbled upon the Aussie Day 2005 photos and it's amazing how much has changed since then!!! New faces this year and some old faces weren't there.. Just amazing. I guess that really shows that life is impermanent!!! It was also very very nice to see friendly faces again, haven't seen them FOR YONKS! I'm glad I ended up going to the gathering!

After hanging out at Gordon's house for a few hours with BBQ and booze, we walked to the Coode St Jetty (near Wesley College) about 7pm and it was packed... And we saw a fight break out!!! Man, beer bottle smashed, eskys toppled over, people threw punches and kicks... boy, it was scary but exciting at the same time! Police came AFTER the fight was broken off by others *rolls eyes*

Anywhoooo... I learnt this cool thing from one of the workshops I attended at UWA. It was about learning about someone through drawing a PIG on a piece of paper.. Everyone had fun doing it, especially when they learnt what the length of the pig's tail meant! haha And when we asked Yoke to draw one, she some how ended up with a kangaroo looking "pig". And it didn't have trotters, it had paws hahaha And a wooden leg like Captain Hook =P Sorry Yoke, it was embarassing for you but we all had a good laugh =) I hope the rest of the Organisation Behaviour classes will be like this =P

Tonight I've got a networking session, basically how to network. That's like the BUZZ word in MBA. One thing you MUST get out of MBA is how to network and how to keep your network. I guess that's very important for business people. It does drain the energy though.. coz you have to keep up with listening and keep the conversation flowing. I suppose that's what we'll learn tonight!!! Yipee.
