Sports weekend

Go Wild Cats Go!! Friday night, Mikewoahski passed me his season tickets so Oppa & I enjoyed a night out at Challenge Stadium. Mikewoahski couldn't make it coz it was Jewish new year so I got the benefit =) Thanks for thinking of me Mikewoahski!!

It was the first game of the season, so there weren't that many people. I guess everyone would've prefered to see Dockers vs Swans that night!!! A shame that Dockers lost...

Anyway, for basketball it was Singapore Slingers vs Perth Wild Cats. It's quite weird, Singapore team mainly consisted of Aussies and Americans!!! Vahov's ploy to get more profit into basketball so he's involving East Asian countries. It's quite sad to see basketball going down. It was HUGE when I first came to Australia.. in the 90s. I remember it was like Ooo and Ahhhs and they were a big feature at the Xmas pageant. Now, it's football! I remember James Crawford coming to our primary school to teach basketball and I was like.. who the heck is that? And I wondered why everyone rushed to him for a signature after the class haha DUH =P

So after the game, went to Retro Bettys with Oppa.. it was quite nice. Good atmosphere as well. Scoffed down the burger.. Went home about 10.30pm (yes, very early) coz I was buggered!!
Saturday was jam packed. Had group meeting at 11am.. finished 1pm. Went to Yu Yee's to make wedding invites (sorry that I didn't finish helping but we got the "big" work out of the way.. embossing!). We watched Eagles vs Crows as w were doing the invites. Lucky we didn't burn or stamp on the wrong places whilst watching the game. Boy it was such an exciting game!! Then about 4pm, I rushed to Body Jam hehe Man, was I buggered!! That night, I started working on my E&I creative journal. Mannnnn brain dead =(

Daddy came back on Sat morning!!! So before my group meeting, I went to pick him up. It took him one and a half hours to come out!!! There were 3 flights and there was a huge queue at the declarations bit. And since Aussie quarantine is very strict now, it takes twice or three times as long to be cleared. My parking was like $6 for an hour!! Bugger me! But it was worth it coz I got my pressies.. new clothes! Woo hoo haha

On Sun morning, went out for breakfast at The Como then went to see "Devil Wears Prada". That was a pretty good movie. I definitely prefer the movie over the book!! Man, it was such a relaxing morning. A pity I had to go home and do uni work in the afternoon and rest of the night... BOO HOO

Over the weekend, we had a discussion (well like 2 minutes). I will NEVER compromise on food, whether eating out or at home. Always the best! I don't mind not having new clothes or extra gadgets.. but damn it, I must have good food!! haha

Been so busy at work today... Boss comes back tomorrow and it will get worse. But I guess it's good.... So do not feel like uni tonight =(
