Air Race was on today... Woke up a bit late this morning after another late night. Did my exercise DVD, showered and then we got ready to go to the foreshore. Sis was a bit pissy coz we were a bit disorganised and kinda left it to the last minute. I even forgot to bring my beloved digi =( So I had to use my phone.. bad resolution. Ai Yor.
There were MOUNTAINS of people in South Perth!!! From our house to Coode Street usually takes like 5 minutes, today took at least 15 and we weren't any where CLOSE to Coode Street! We were about to give up and then sis made suggestion to go to uncle's old place near KFC. And luckily we did coz we found parking straight away and we could still see the Air Race. Though we had to walk quite a bit to see the actual course but oh well, better than nothing!!! Tried to take some snaps.. probably can't see much..
See the two little cones?? hahaha Hmmmnn.....Anyway, at night went to Burswood to collect $5 cash we got as bonus from club burswood. And we saw fireworks! It was so frigging loud, almost went deaf. Apparently it was for opening of the Pearl Room?? Once again, took some shots with my dodgey phone camera.
Ok... Gav mentioned on MSN just then about the song from Free Hugs video clip on YouTube. And I don't remember hearing it haha So I went to see it again and it has brought up tears.. again. It's such a sweet movement.. and it's like seems so easy but it's so hard to do!!! Honestly, I'd totally freak out if some homeless or someone stinks or someone fugly come up to me asking for a hug. But that's just something we need to shake off right.. no judgements and this world would be a much better place..Free Hugs Campaign
There is also an American site.. and its t-shirts are a lot better looking haha But it's hell more expensive!! Free Hugs originated from Australia, and he's been on Oprah!! So I guess the American is just a spin-off?? *shrugs*
Anyway, better get back into it.. NO LONG TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
