Went out to breakfast with best friend.. caught up with her and yes, she's the patient bride not a Bridezilla AT ALL!!! It was a HUGE breakfast, she couldn't even finish half of it! Felt really bad coz she treated me! Argh.... Next time it's my shout!!!Afterwards, we went to the city and bought me a pair of nice shoes for the wedding. Felt so spoilt when we went looking. She was paying for it but she's like going, it's gotta be something you'll wear again!! I looked at the price tag of the one that was good and gulped. So I insisted on paying half of it. It's pretty nice looking, a bit on the high side but I think it'll be ok. It's quite comfortable. Don't have it in my room and I can't be bothered going out to take a photo of it =P You'll see it for the wedding!
Anyway, tonight was the anticipated gathering of MBA friends. These are the bunch of people I met through MBA (only a couple were from before) and I clicked with them... and I treasure their characters and personalities and I am glad that I met them! It certainly has made MBA a great experience for the past eleven months!!!
We went to The Moon & Sixpence, sorry to Darren coz he went to The Moon in Northbridge haha And Oppa would've done the same if he hadn't asked me BEFORE he left the house. He had another function to go to so he dropped by for like 15 minutes. And his other purpose there for that 15 minutes was to take a photo ahha =P It didn't turn out too well, it's always hard to take big group photos though.
Hieu - you looked like you had something to say? haha But the place was good, food was a bit salty though. My pie (it had no fancy name.. just had PIE) was nice but yeah, salty. I had to take a photo of it and yes, that got everyone laughing at me. Laugh away people.. *sniffles*
I'm glad everyone who I invited had turned up =) Though KW couldn't come coz Jas had bad case of flu or whatever it was. Hope she'll feel better soon. But it was still good. We chatted and laughed and gossiped =P And it was good for people to meet others who they knew the faces but didn't really know them. Felt satisfying to bring them together =) And isn't it funny, majority is Asian... except Jel & Martin! HmmmmmmAnd about 11ish, most people left and only 5 of us stayed to chat... and it's the original OB group members =) The 5 of us started together in Tri 1 this year. We faced our first ever group assignment working together in the GP3 lab 3am in the morning. That was an experience and last haha I haven't done that 3am thing for a LONG time! Thank goodness coz my mum wouldn't have been a happy chappy! =P
Everyone's going away on holidays, NZ or Singapore or Serbia or Japan... ai yor When am I going to get to go on a holiday!? =( Or even just away.. boo hoo. Mum said today she wants to quickly get better so we can all go back to Taiwan together. And I said yes, when I finish my MBA... kinda went "pew pew" coz kinda cursing her to get better only when I finish my MBA. So I hit myself (and also got hit by my sister and mum, dad was the only nice one haha). Of course I want mum to get better asap!!! She's walking a lot faster now, although still a little bit of pain but it's nothing too serious. Very happy. Soon she'll start treatment again, so hopefully she won't suffer too much. Mum is so brave.. I wouldn't be as brave and tough as she is. Truly inspirational.... She's the best.
It has been a very satisfying weekend =) Next week.. got Jel's farewell... wonder if Oppa can go *rubs chin* I will ask =P I also can't wait to go to the day spa thing!! Mannnnnn, definitely need some serious pampering.... MmmMmm Facial and massage... ahhhh
