Our first Xmas tree =) Bought these lights with mum from Woolies on Sat when we were at Subi. Put it up in the afternoon after we've finished scrubbing the house down.. and finally got to turn it on around 8.30-9pm. The only complaint I hav about the day light saving is that we don't get to do the light thing earlier! Can you imagine Aussie Day?? 9pm start! Luckily it's long weekend!!!We started preparing for Xmas lunch about 9. Took out the mah jong table, startd putting together my shiskebab hehe Upgraded my "lazy bum" fish balls coz mum wanted to add capsicum and some meat. It ended up looking good!
We got a lot of Bons Bons this year!!! And Mikewoahski got me a special one!! Tee hee hee Isn't it just gorgeous?!?!

Oppa loves his food.. and eats more than me!! Everybody kept on picking on me about how I much I eat.. even more than Gordie! Grrr... Even people at work are saying that about me! Everytime they walk by my office I'm munching on something. But hey, it's always not full meals! And it's usually something healthy =P
After our lunch we played Mah Jong and Poker.. Can't remember who ended up winning.. all I knew is that my dad got me out haha I left the table for one sec and he filled in for me. Then he went all in!!!!! What the..... I 
It was such an enjoyable day. A tiring one though. I'm glad everyone had fun... I think they did anyway haah Lots of laughters! There were soooo much food. We organised everyone to bring a dish each but it was like 12 people and hence 10 dishes (mum & dad not included). But Judy ended up making more than 1 dish!! So yeah.. needless to say we've had left over haha But we managed to get Lee Woon & Oppa to take some home *giggle*So I'm sitting here in front of tv.. relaxing. Watching the making of The Little Mermaid (Judy san bought it for me for Xmas!). Everybody enjoyed their presents.. Oppa too =) This year because mum got into the xmas spirit, I thought I'd get into it too. My first ever purchase was the bon bons.. and then I thought I'd surprise people and get them xmas presents! So after my 1st purchase, I bought 2 presents. And then Judy got into the spirit and she ended up sharing with me to get everybody a present! It was nice to give and see people's happy faces when they opened the packages =) It was ashame that Judy knew what I got her coz she wrapped the presents!!! But it's the thought that counts!! =)
It's been a year and a few days when mum was diagnosed. I'm glad that mum is still here to celebrate another year with us. Sometimes when I look at her, she just looks so healthy. And I can't help but to just "stare adoringly" at mummy. It still feels a bit surreal sometimes but I'm glad our whole family is here to be with mum, and treasure every moment we have with each other. Although we do get on each other's nerves occassionally, we still stick together and look out for each other. Family.. can't live with them, can't live without them!!
