Friday night went to Jel's cya-and-have-a-good-holiday party combined with her brother's 21st @ The Deen. Hieu went too and he was there nice and early to start on the booze! There was a tab!!! Awesome! haha But didn't drink much d'oh!! Left the place about 11ish. Oppa was a bit hungry so we went to look for soup. There was a new restaurant called New Orleans on James St. Very nice! The maitre d' was actually from New Orleans and the owners were from 100km away from New Orleans hehe It was a nice atmosphere and the wait staff were excellent and friendly. Could tell that they love what they're doing. And in the new year the restaurant is commissioning live jazz band!! WOO HOO!!!! Definitely have to go there and visit. Food wasn't bad (from what we had anyway ahha) but browsing the menu it was on the pricey end ($20-30)
Sat.. totally chilled out with family. It was good. Judy and I went grocery shopping at Subi on Sat morning... then we shopped in the Asian grocery stores with parents in the afternoon. It was relaxing and it felt good not having to rush rush coz I've got something else to go to! And then went home, I said to myself, don't nap Cindy! But.. guess what, I napped haha For 3 hours! :O Woke up had dinner and then just watched TV. Was supposed to watch Happy Feet but ended up watching Korean DVD with dad until 12.30am ahha
Sun... company's Xmas party. Picked Oppa up from his house and we went to boss' house. It was a nice drive, not too far as I thought. And when we were on their street we were looking for the house, as we drove up the hill a HUGE mansion showed and we went.. ahh there it is. It was a very nice place! Bit big though aha I wouldn't want to be the one cleaning it! Didn't have to wait for long before we were in the cars on the way to the jetty. Our boss was kind enough to take out his boats and let us have a ride. We went to Garden Island. Apparently, they were one of the first few squatters on that island before they kicked them out to make it naval base! It was so interesting to hear the story! So funny.. squatters haha The weather was BEAUTIFUL.. Oppa had a blast haha He also had a swim in the ocean and we saw a stingray!! We anchored on the beach and then just had lunch there.. chicken roll with beer hehe Took a few photos..

Workmate was relieved after the toilet run. We were ALL busting to go to the loo ahha Drank too much beer.It was a shame that I had to leave the party but I didn't regret leaving early to go to WASO!!! It was soooooooooo goood. Oppa & I got there about 6 to hog seats before parents came with dinner.
When we were waiting and the starting time was approaching, we were looking and looking for any sign of my parents & Jude. And a grandpa sitting behind us said who are you looking for? And we said.. my parents coz waiting for dinner!!! Then he was SOOO kind and gave us strawberry + cheese + crackers!!! HOW CUTE?!?!?! Aww.. good ol' granps!!!! So later on, Oppa offered him carrot cake =)
Anyway, the concert was soo good. And no, I didn't cry like I did last time I went to one of those things (which I had to pay for!!). This time, I did get teary but not too much =P I just love it... movie themes.. ahh. Just tugs at my heart string. They played the typical ones, Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Pirates of Caribbean, Titanic... and a few songs like Summertime, I could've danced all night. They also played the song from Space Odessy and when they did that, I thought of the Simpsons and Homer with his doughnuts haha Soo farnie.
Sonya & Sean were there too. So we caught up with them after the concert. But didn't chat much coz was buggered. Got home about 10pm and man, slept by 10.30 right through to 6.45am. Didn't do much really but was just soooo tired!!!Now... at work.. still recovering haha Workmates were badly sunburnt tee hee.
Recently have an urge to buy a bicycle. Really want to go bike riding!! So I thought, hmmmm might get a bicycle and make it a resolution to ride regularly with Oppa! =) But yeah, dunno when to get it. Post-Xmas? Pre-Xmas? Where? Quokka? Ebay?? Or just a normal bicycle shop?? Too many choices!!!
Can't wait for next week.. the long awaited Day Spa session with Yu Yee!! Yaay!!! D'oh that reminded me.. need to write wedding speech!!!! D'oh d'oh d'oh.. needs to be good opening coz I'm first up!! What a privilege =) But huge pressure!! Feeling sick just thinking of it...
Ok. Better get back to work. Boss isn't coming in today.. woo hoo! =P
