The above demonstrates the current state of my room.. yes I will be sleeping on the floor tonight!Why?!
Coz I am getting new bed!! Wooooo hoooo!!!
We've been window shopping lately and seeing so many nice beds (queens mostly), my heart was itching for a big bed so I can roll around and sleep diagonally haha Also, get to decorate with nice cushions, rugs and and and and... nice sheets!!!
So I mentioned it once to mum.. you know, in one of those "tones" haha A day later she said, why do you want one? I told her bluntly - coz I want one haha She said, ok let's go shop for one. Needless to say, my jaw dropped!!!
Unfortunately, we didn't see anything that was suitable last night =( And when my room was designed, I don't think it was meant to fit a proper queen-size bed.. I'm like a few centimetres too short! Doh!!!! Oh well, need to get a really thing frame! Can't have anything too fancy =(
It was quite unexpected really. We were selling our old couch (yes, stock take is a great time to re-decorate the home! hehehe) and so I called a 2nd furniture mart in Como. I called, they came and negotiated the price... and left with our sofa, my sis' bed frame as well! All that in a space of half an hour!! My sis & I came home to an empty family room and ours beds on the floor haha They didn't want my single bed =( Boo hoo! What's wrong with it!? I guess young people nowadays get spoilt with doubles or even queen size beds! No one sleeps on singles anymore!!

Tomorrow bed hunting! In the mean time, I better get my head down and bum up - work on group assignment!! Yes, one down but another one starts =(
