On my actual birthday, my parents took me out to Victoria Station to celebrate. They also invited Mike and Alex and it's like... woah! haha A big deal!! It was a very enjoyable dinner!! Chatted and laughed. I was a bit drunk for a good part of the dinner coz I had 2 glasses of champagne (Refer to my comment below).
Is that cheeky or what?? Oppa took this photo. He was trying to capture me blowing out the candles but then he didn't use flash so it was all black oh well haha So I made this cheeky gesture to indicate that "I've blown it out already no need to take photo lah"
Close up of the cake. It was pretty nice! Had layers of yoghurt or something.. and bits of it tasted like Yakult! And guess what! This little cake (enough for 6 of us) came free from Victoria Station!!!! They also gave us each a complimentary glass of champagne. Just because it's my birthday! And see the cake?! It's even got chocolate flake with my name on it!!!
This was swordfish.. not my type of fish. The waitress asked me how I would like to have it... I paused for a bit coz I thought she heard me wrong and thought I wanted to order steak! Apparently, you can order fish medium rare or medium well. To be honest, I just want my fish cooked haha Not still flapping around..

Judy and Mike got me a pink Parker pen! My other pen literally fell apart.. so I've been without my "own" pen for a very long time *sniffles* Until now! And it writes sooo smooooooth. Thanks!! *hugs*Yesterday at uni it was so farnie. I had so many birthday wishes from class mates I just met on Monday haha It's because the lecturer went around asking people's birthdays. He was trying to demonstrate how many ppl must be in the 1 room before there is more than 50% chance at least 2 of them share the same birthday. The answer was 23 people, and we had 40 in the class. As he asked around there were 3 matches!! Amazing. Anyway, so that's how people knew it was my birthday yesterday. Also, because of that, I got a free lunch from Chucksta and Prasie =)
We went to KK's in Broadway shopping centre. It was really yummy and I guess reasonably priced. They bought me G&T... only a small cup but apparently the bar tender poured quite a bit of gin haha Being me, I went all red. Chuksta had TWO pints while Prasie had 1.5 - boy I was a bit hmmm! Went back to class looking suspiciously red. The boys kept on giggling at me and keeping an eye on me to make sure I'm not falling asleep haha I must have some kind of in-built alcohol level monitor. My face and ears apparently went from bright red to normal yellow haha By about 3pm, Prasie said "CC, you're back to normal yellow now" *guffaws* So yes, that day, uni was very enjoyable.
So today went back to work. Didn't think I was going to get anything for birthday coz you know, I was in the office and a lot of people are still away. But boy was I wrong! Walked in the office and the room had a lot of colourful cutouts of balloons stuck everywhere. On my table, printer, inside my diary and in my mug haha
So yes I got lotsa birthday wishes and presents!!! I'm soooo spoilt!!!! Workmates bought me pink pjs! haha One for w/e and one for weekdays! How interesting! The PJs will be perfect after I've pampered myself with Es' specially packaged kit =)
But I just realised, my workmates are always buying me really girly stuff!! I must seem to be so vain or something... coz last year they bought me a PINK bag. Hm! Oppa says I give off the aurora that I'm very girly. I thought it was completely the opposite! Oh well haha As long as I have my presents! =P
THEN! Something else on my desk... 
Who the?! What the?!? I walked into the door and there it is.. a coffee mug with LOTS of tim tam "flowers"!! The message in the card was very sweet and encouraging indeed. Butttt it didn't have name!!! Grr! I had a suspicion it was a mate in Melbourne.. but he denied it!! Grr! I want to know who it is so I can give a proper thanks!!!Finally picked up my bridesmaids dress. It's hanging in the room.. My gawd.. less than 8 days until it! I still haven't finalised my speech. Argh! Stressssss. And I'm so afraid that I'm going to trip hahaha =P Gotta think positive!
Ohh forgot to mention family & I went to see Night at the Museum. That was such an awesome film!! HILARIOUS! Judy and I were like guffawing all the way. Dad was going "What is sooo funny?!" But yeah, you will know once you see it =P
Doh.. it's 10.30 already!! Should be doing revision work! Quiz next Tues and I haven't done any revision! It's quite easy but still need to study. It also looks like this weekend will be jam-packed with dates!! Dim Sum on Sat. Dinner/Movie with Oppa at Sat night. Breakfast with Wangs Sun morning!

Especially at times like this, I feel so spoilt and loved. It just feels like everyone just wants to pour out alll their love unto me all at once!!! It can be a little bit overwhelming!! But I have to say, this year is even more special because mum is able to spend it with me again. Thanks to her for giving me birth to me and looking after me all these years. I have to admit, I am her "pet monkey" as appropriately coined by my sis ahaha And thanks to mum for fighting with the cancer and enduring all the pain she had to go through to live to spend another year with us.
