On Fri, the NZ sales manager called me and said she wanted me to stay extra days coz she wanted to spend more time with me and show me around Auckland. The office manager said the same thing tee hee. And guess what, I have extended ONE day, so now I fly back on the Aussie day and land 6pm... I hope I still make it to the fireworks =(
ANYWAY... this morning we went to eat dim sum, organised by WJ. Thanks gal for organising a get-together, haven't seen those people for ages! It was awesome to eat dim sum with 14 people, coz that means we could order so much more!! As you can see from the photo taken by Judy-san. She's become quite a snapper! =)
And here I am whilst WJ is serving haha She couldn't wait to dig into the food, boy for someone so little, she sure can eat!!!
After the lovely lunch, went to Harbour Town for a wee little while. Judy wanted to have a look for ideas for her bridesmaid's dress.. for her friend's wedding in late March. Unfortunately, there weren't that many. She's already got a pink gown but she just needs to get her friend's approval! THEN at night.. my long awaited for date with Oppa =) I woke up at 6pm (was soo buggered after a long day of eating and walking haha) and got ready for him by 6.15pm. He then called at 6.30 saying let's go to the beach and then we'll go have dinner & movie. I was actually keen for that idea because I get to wear my new tankee-ni which Oppa bought for my birthday =) So off we went about 7 to Cottesloe. It was perfect weather! Water was fine, sun wasn't glaring. We jumped right in and basked in the blissful presence of nature and sharing it with someone we love =* The sunset was beautiful!!

After the quick dip, we made a pseudo-change room with the car doors and towels. Quite good.. I had to hide a bit though haha But it did its job..
Voila! All changed! =)
After Cottesloe.. we rushed to Carousel for the movie... but we had to stop over HJs to buy food haha We didn't have time to have proper sit down restaurant meal so we opted for HJs, which I didn't mind because when I was waiting at home for Oppa... an ad for Double Delish Burger came up. I was feeling a bit peckish at that time and didn't mind a bite of that. So yes, HJs it was!! hehe Then rushed to the movies and the line was LONG!!! Luckily, Oppa booked prior and we went straight to the red carpet =) Felt sooo previleged hahaWe watched Blood Diamond . It was SOOOOOOOOOOo good. When I first saw the trailer, I wasn't too keen because I thought it was going to be one of those "crap" storyline movies about diamond smuggling etc. But boy, am I glad I saw it!! Totally changed the perception about diamonds for me... can't imagine how many lives were sacrificed just for power and money. "People are just people, and it's what they do that's makes them good or bad" - this is a great line from the movie and it's so very true. The movie credit had a few suggestions that consumers need to be aware that diamond sellers are indirectly responsible for so many deaths in Africa. So the consumers need to be aware when they're buying the diamonds and make sure it's conflict-free, however, how do WE know it's conflict-free? Fair enough it'll have ceritifcate or what not, but in the end it's all up to the honesty of the trader. I wouldn't mind not having a diamond.. Ruby will do *winks to Oppa*
Another good thing about this movie. Leo!!! Gosh, I had a crush on him when he did Romeo & Juliet. He was a young girl's heart throb back then.. He was only 22 and quite skinny!!! Now... he's 32 and he's buffer, and his acting skills are still the best ever! He was really good in this film. I do hope he gets his Golden Globe and eventually an Oscar!
Couldn't wait until the next day to write about this. So now it's 2am.. argh! Gotta sleep!! Tomorrow have breakfast with cousins.
I'll sign off this entry with a lovely picture of the roses Oppa got me tonight. He spoils me so.. =)
*muah muah*
