Clucky or not?

During coffee time, work mate dug out this cute cookie from the barrel. I don't normally eat cookies with my coffee.. but had to have this!

Anyway, first week back to work has been rather hectic. Short week already and had so much to catch up. Major accounts submitted orders over the Xmas break so had to go through it very carefully to make sure we don't get ripped off. And mean while have to prepare for the new staff that is coming to Perth (from Sydney) on 15 Jan. AND had to prepare for summer school.. AND best friend's wedding. Oh woe....

But it's all good.

Still managed to get out of the house and all the stress on Sat. Went to catch up with Son & Sandy. Went to the park near Sandy's house. Oppa & I didn't get a chance to prepare ANYTHING.. so we did a last min shop @ Southlands. Gourmet chicken sausages and some butterfly cut breasts. Bad I know... bad for the wallet and bad for the health. Definitely won't do this again in the future! What put us more into shame was Son & Sandy prepared soo much :O Just look at the pic!! The cheese potato..YUMMO! And Sandy's own laksa was delish! I got the recipe, hope to try one day.
Sandy's bubs.. One boy and one girl. Aren't they gorgeous? =) Just loved playing with them but Son kept on saying how I'm clucky. I can play with them coz they're just so soft and cuddly. But if you want me to change their nappies or feed them or bear their crying? No thanks... I would prefer to hand it back to the owner haha The girl (the eldest) can speak now. But only in Canto haha And when she says things in Canto.. it's soooooooo adorable!!!
The park we went to. Under the tree were full of duckies, resting and avoiding the sun. Son, Oppa and myself all got sunburnt on the faces that day.. coz of the darn BBQ!
It was a very nice day out. We left about 2ish coz the bubs had to take afternoon naps.

After that... Oppa suggested to go shop for my tankee-nis! Work mate mentioned it so we were both very keen to get a set.. for ME! haha So ended up going to Morley Galleria - have not been to that place for yonkers!! At least 4 years ago! I used to go quite regularly when I used to work at Malaga, even if I didn't buy anything I liked to walk around. Better than sitting in the office lunchroom.. at that place people didn't really have the eating lunch together culture. Mostly in front of computers.. erk.

So anyway.. we first went to surf shop. Looked at the brands and boy they weren't cheap! Then, decided to go to Target. And voila, bought a set for almost (or more than) half the price at the surf shop! Cooool. I finally got them! And thanks Oppa for getting them for me.. as my b'day present. He said it's PART OF my b'day present.. oooo wonder what the other part is? hahaha

Did some work this morning after we had breakfast at The Dux on South Tce. Pretty nice! I loved the hash brown.. the potato was mashed and full of garlic. It's not one of those frozen ones you get in the supermarkets, these were actually gourmet stuff! Man! YUMMO! Went to get my bridesmaid dress in the arvo.. BUT it wasn't ready. I have to go back and pick it up on Thurs! D'oh!! Hopefully it'll fit now!!! I probably can't eat haha Coz without a full stomach it's already a fitting dress!

Ok, better get back to work. Gotta sleep a little bit earlier tonight coz have summer school tomorrow.

*sigh* Why do I do this to myself? But I'm sure short term pain, long term gain. It'll be good for me in the future.. it will it will.. *chants*

Ohhhhh and for those panicking about my birthday. Don't be!! I am just happy to have lovely people like you in my life... So fortunate to have met all of you, even though I haven't had a chance to catch up nor able to see you often.
