Mmmm BBQ

Yesterday was ANZAC Day. A day to remember the fallen soldiers from Aust. & NZ in Gallipoli in WWI. When I think of ANZAC Day, I think of the movie Gallipoli played starring Mel Gibson. That was such a good movie.. and he was so yummy... mm

Anyway, I digress...

So we had a day off, in the middle of the week. It's a bit sucky coz it breaks the week up and body clock all out of wack! I walked into work this morning and saw my rubbish bin and thought "What!? The cleaners didn't come in!" only to realise it was Wed yesterday and the cleaners come on Sundays!

Anywho... ANZAC Day, what did we do? In the morning, J's friend came over with her 5 month old bubba. Sooo cute. She kept on staring at me. I think she was trying to get used to the new environment.

I was still sleepy so I didn't play with it for very long. Slept from 11ish until 12.30pm. Then we had a little picnic at a park near our house. It was prep'd by J.. really nooice! The weather wasn't too hot nor too cold. It was sooo quiet and peaceful. Here's a photo of me & J munching away.. mmm

So we had a good afternoon. Then we went home and I did my uni work... whilst J & mum did jig saw. Below is a photo of a completed one from a few days ago. Mum did this all by herself. They finished one last night, one of earth. Pretty cool, 3D... quite challenging but a lot more fun than 2D... It seems like it anyway!
Had last lecture for the trimester. 3 of the people in the class are finishing this trimester, so jealous!!! Exam next week on Thurs... I hope I'll do ok. The lecturer wants us to study for all 12 weeks worth of topics for 5 questions in the exam. WTF!!!! Tried to hint to her that we want some ideas/guidance but nope.... wouldn't budge =( Have to study harder now!

In a bit of dilemma.

O-mmo-ni came to me.. and asked if I'd leave my work and postpone MBA to travel with her. I'd love to!! But ai yarrrrr.. postponing MBA =( I really want to graduate with the "crowd" and I really can't bear with the thought of extending MBA into the year after =( But what's more important?!?! Of course spending quality with mum =(

ALSO, talk about perfect timing. Mum's appointment with oncologist is 1st May.. My exam is 3rd May!! WTF!!! Why!!?! O Why!?!?!? I really hope.. erm, actually no... I _KNOW_ everything will be ok for mum. "The Secret" at work.. I'm sure everything will be fine, mum will be great!!
